Sulgrave Lawn restoration

Banbury Lawncare welcomes a new garden located in the Northamptonshire village of Sulgrave for Lawn treatments. Consisting of two lawns within the garden, both lawns were tired and needed a makeover in order to restore them back to health. It’s often cheaper and more effective to carry out a restoration service than to rip the whole lawn up and replace it with fresh turf. Here we focus on two lawn areas that have undergone our Lawn restoration treatment.

To start with both lawns are treated with a moss kill treatment to kill off the moss, you will note from the images that over time this turns the moss black. Once this has had time to work both lawns are then subjected to scarification treatment to remove the dead moss and thatch in the lawns. These lawns are then both overseeded with a ryegrass seed-based grass.

Enclosed are images of both lawns now they have recovered from the lawn restoration service and images show lawns after their first cut. These lawns will now receive a Feed and Weed treatment visit every 11 weeks in order to keep them in tip-top condition.

Taynton Lawn Renovation Treatment

Banbury Lawncare welcomes a new lawn treatment in the village of Taynton, Oxfordshire. This is an example of our Lawn renovation service. This lawn was tired and full of moss and thatch. In order to restore it to its former beauty, Banbury Lawncare carried out aa spray off treatment to kill the moss and existing lawn. The lawn then underwent scarification treatment to remove all the old grass, moss and thatch. Finally, the lawn was overseeded with a ryegrass based seed. The final image shows the new lawn after its first cut. The lawn will now receive of Feed and Weed treatment every 11 weeks in order to keep it looking in good shape

Sulgrave garden lawn gets makeover

Sulgrave Garden lawns get a fresh makeover by Banbury Lawncare following the summer drought of 2018. This lawn was completely full of brown dead moss following the summer dry spell and required repeated Scarification attempts in order to remove all the dead material buildup within the main lawn areas of the garden. Once the dead material was removed the lawn underwent multiple seeding applications followed by a compost dressing and a final top Fertilizer to support the new lawn. Going forward this lawn will receive our custom lawn treatment service every 11 weeks to nurture the lawn back to its peak optimum condition.
